Step into the spotlight at Made in the West Film Festival! Join hundreds of local filmmakers, cast and crew as we roll out the red carpet and kick off the 2025 festival season with an exciting line-up of short films made right here in Western Sydney!
Films include: A Blacktown Ballad, Always: Sonic Mantra, Azadi, De-Comm, Hold, I Don’t Wanna: Sarah Jane & The Noise, No Right Turn, Oi, The Colour of Black, Tiger Cop: Project A, Waves, Wolf, Wombo and Yandel’mawa.

MARATHON SUMMER SESSIONS
IRL SUMMER SCREENINGS
We're partnering with some incredible venues across our region to host a series of 2-hour movie marathon events featuring 90 minutes of short films & 30 minutes for meet-the-filmmaker networking drinks.
At the end of each marathon session, viewers will be invited to cast their vote for the People's Choice Award!

CELEBRATE AN INCREDIBLE SEASON OF FILMS WITH US!
Saturday 28 February at The Joan, Penrith
We'll be closing out the festival in the most spectacular way possible: with our Closing Night Party at The Joan in Penrith on Saturday 28 February.
You can expect to see some of the season's award-winning films and with your help, we'll be crowning your favourite film from the season and sending them home with a $3,500 prize package, courtesy of Panavision!
