Having our sponsors see and support our vision makes us even thirstier for our goal: to build a thriving, productive and welcoming Western Sydney film scene. Creative Plus Business provides training, coaching, resources and events to help you find self-employed success in your creative field. In 2020, Creative Plus Business have donated two free spots in their popular business workshops for every single one of the award winners. Amazing! Plus, for the first time this year we’re super stoked to announce that the winners of our top prizes for Best in the West, Audience Choice Award and Best Director will win a one-hour chat session with one their professional advisors or even Monica herself, so you can get help on whatever it is your filmmaking business needs, from strategic marketing to management and finance, or start-up help. Green Key Studio
Green Key Studio is a fully equipped green screen studio based in Arndell Park with Chroma key or black / white backdrops, lighting and equipment included. In 2020, Green Key Studio is donating one full day in the studio for the winner of our inaugural People’s Choice Award! The studio has loud speaker playback, which makes it great for bands and music videos. Irierootsini Photographer
Blacktown based photographer Irierootsini specialises in artist portraits and product photography. In 2020, Irierootsini Photography is offering the winners of the Best Actress and Best Actor awards a Deluxe Actors & Models Profile package, which includes a 2-3 hour photoshoot with a professional photographer in the studio or at a location of your choice! Information & Cultural Exchange (I.C.E), Parramatta
I.C.E has worked with Western Sydney communities, artists and creative producers to deliver professional development pathways for emerging cultural entrepreneurs for over 30 years. In 2020, I.C.E is pitching in two great prizes for our Best Student Film winner - one week in the I.C.E Sound Studio and one additional week in the I.C.E Editing Suite! The Sound Studio is a 20 sqm sound-proof booth with isolated control booth and dual screen MacPro and Dual 6 Core Intel Xeon set-up, Pro Tools 10-11, Logic Pro X, Ableton Live 9, Scarlett 18i20 plus more. Western Sydney University
WSU offers a Bachelor of Communication in Media Arts Production with strong links to the screen industry and opportunities for project-based work with employers. Thanks to WSU, this year’s trophy winners will be invited on set at their state-of-the-art TV studio at Parramatta Campus for our 2020 TV Show! Take a seat with our TV host Sunil Badami to chat about the festival, your winning film, and what it’s like to be a filmmaker in Western Sydney. Still Searchin’ Productions
Still Searchin' Productions are the team that plans and produces Made in the West each year, sponsoring the event and all major awards. We are strong advocates for Western Sydney filmmakers and the emerging talent in our local film scene. In addition to producing the 2020 TV Show, the winners of each major trophy will receive an invitation to join Roscoe on the Pagey Train Podcast to chat about their film work PLUS the winner of Best Student Film will receive a Foley package including sound effects, atmosphere and ADR for your next film. How sweet is that!?
