Still Searchin’ Productions, Western Sydney Filmmakers Hangout and Made in the West Film Festival are teaming up again to bring you another #WesternSydneyFilm Online Networking Event!
It is a new year and we are excited to be launching into some new projects! What are you working on this year?
Join us on Thursday 11 February from 7:30pm to 9pm as we host an interactive online event to connect with local filmmakers, chat about our upcoming film projects, meet future collaborators and help each other get inspired and ready to take on the new year.
We'll also be chatting to a few special guests and award-winning local filmmakers to find out what they're working on in 2021 and the lessons they took away from 2020.
Get ready to catch up with your filmmaker friends, network with new potential collaborators and discover more awesome creatives who are part of the Western Sydney film scene!
We'll be LIVE on Zoom from 7.30pm to 9pm on Thursday 11 February!
It will be the second time that filmmakers from across Western Sydney come together to meet online and network with other local creatives and collaborators.
Meeting people at any networking event is daunting, but online networking with #WesternSydneyFilm is totally fun!
ONE Online Networking Event will be a unique blend of three elements: a live TV show with guest interviews, a Zoom party with random breakout rooms for smaller group chats, and a Choose-Your-own-Adventure-style interactive game, complete with alternate endings!
Great things can happen in our community when we connect and talk about our ideas and filmmaking practice. We love feeling inspired by the work everyone is doing and we know we’ll all walk away with a renewed sense of determination for our own projects coming up this year.
From Campbelltown to Parrramatta, Bankstown to The Hills, and from Strathfield all the way out west to Penrith and the Blue Mountains - all filmmakers are welcome to join us!
We’ll be zooming into your lounge room and onto a screen near you! You can access the event via desktop, laptop, tablet or mobile phone - anything goes!
